Inside the units, Central 1 continues design focus with 9 foot concrete ceilings, exposed concrete pillars and ductwork, and floor to ceiling windows. Its 239 units are occupied by a mix of owners and tenants. Units range in size from just under 500 square feet to just over 1200 square feet.

The genius of Central 1 is the Centretown location, for this community is central to so much of what Ottawa has to offer. Walk a few blocks to the north - here is the city’s downtown and parliamentary precinct, a short commute to the office. Two blocks to the south is the Glebe - fashionable, hip, one of Ottawa’s top urban neighbourhoods. And to the west and east - a budding district of shops, restaurants and leafy residential streets. Residents at Central Condo Phase One with dogs are within an 7 minute walk of one of the three well known fenced in dog parks in downtown Ottawa. Jack Purcell Park is located on the corner of Frank St and Elgin Street, just down the street from Elgin Street Diner. Jack Purcell Park has a two gate entrance. The first gate allows you to prepare your dog to enter the fenced in dog park where there is also a water fountain for your use and a spout closer to the ground for your dog. The second gate allows you into the park where there is lots of room for your dog to play as well as some shaded benches and tables to relax at. The park is open from 6am to 10pm and closed from 10pm to 6am.
